Legal Service workers, to include 200 attorneys, paralegals, and support staff, held a rally at City Hall, joined by many of the City council members,to mark the fifth week of their strike before marching down broadway to the corporate offices of board chairman, Joe Genova.Legal Services New York provides free serves to low income people and families and benefit 45,000 New Yorkers each year.Management wants to cuts to healthcare coverage and retirement contributions.The Bargaining committee has met with management several times; all they want is a fair contract.
