Lawyers for defense and plaintiffs gave closing statements, concluding the 9 week civil rights trail Floyd v City of New York, over the contentious NYPD practice of stop, question and frisk yesterday. Plaintiffs allege the police's policy is racist by disportionally stopping black and hispanic men; the City claims there is no racial motivation in the practice.
