At a City Hall News conference Friday, Mayor Mike Bloomberg announced HUD, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, is making 1.77 billion in Sandy Recovery dollars available to New York City. Bloomberg outlined how money is to be spent. He said $648 miillion dollars is for Housing which is divided into four areas.
