NYC City Council Parks Committee asks Parks about its private event deals and whether it discriminates against unions

New York City Council held an oversight hearing today over an art fair that is due to open this month on Randall's Island Park.Unions argue they are being cut out of jobs and the fair doesn't benefit New Yorkers, park advocates argue it is elitist, and other exhibitors think the Bloomberg Administration is doling out special favors.WBAI's Rebecca Myles was there and files this report.
