Six months after Hurricane Sandy lashed the East Coast, the Union of Concerned Scientists hosted a panel discussion with city and country officials from up and down the Eastern seaboard to discuss plans on ways to protest communities and infrastructure from the next Sandy and the ongoing problem of sea level rise.The effects of Hurricane Sandy caused death and economic and infrastructure damage estimated to be more than $60 billion in New York and New Jersey alone.WBAI's Rebecca Myles has more on this story
