LGBT AND CRIMINAL JUSTICE

All my people! Tune-in this Saturday when we will be discussing "LGBTQ and Criminal Justice." The unique and specific issue affecting our LGBTQ family in their experience with the criminal justice system as well as such dehumanizing topics as criminalizing Transgender people, Stigma, Homophobia and Transphobia in the prison system, and overall undeserved abuse. Our guests include Jorge "Zapatista" Gonzalez, @comradezapata, a NYC Chicano, xStraightEdgex, Socialist, Queer, Carnivore, Feminist-Ally, Anti-War Army Veteran, & Radical Dad. Joining us in studio will be Shea Diamond, a formerly incarcerated Transgender Woman, Singer/Songwriter based in NYC by way of Flint, MI. We are still working on booking someone else who will be representing the LGBTQ community with regards to their experience with criminal justice and the prison system so stay tuned.

We can't say that we are advocates reporting on issues affecting everyone if we chose to ignore people in this struggle. In order for us to be successful in this struggle to end all dehumanizing aspects of this racists, punishment-driven, violent culture of a Heterosexual system we need to have all hands on deck and not ignore the unique injustices experienced by our LGBTQ family. Join us this Saturday and support us in the struggle to end this unjust system as we know it by, not only including everyone, but listening and joining those most oppressed and marginalized by this system of criminal punishment. You don't want to miss this.
