Fourth Arts Block will be holding the FAB! Festival On Saturday September 22nd from 1pm-5pm on East 4th Street between Bowery and 2nd Avenue. And they have invited me back to emcee one of the four stages that provide entertainment throughout the day. There's a little bit of everything... theater, dance, films, kid friendly stuff, food and fun. Here's more details:FABnyc brings together a wide selection of FREE performances by local artists, as well as diverse selection of performances and activities from FABnyc's partners throughout New York City. FABnyc teams up with the Asian American Arts Alliance to celebrate the vibrant Asian community in the LES. As a site for their citywide Locating the Sacred Festival, this year’s FAB! Festival features two hours of performances by Asian artists, including Soh Daioko’s Japanese Taiko drumming, and hula dancing from the dancers of Pua Ali’i ‘llima o Nuika. Festival favorites including Alpha Omega Dance Theater and Rod Rodgers Dance Company will be performing our outdoor stages. Come and enjoy a variety of dance, including ballet, jazz, modern, and traditional Polynesian dance, along with work created and fostered via FABnyc's Dance Block program. Experience an eclectic mix of artists including Nicole Bugge, Krista Jansen, PROJECT 44, and Lotus Music & Dance. In the indoor theater, catch performances by WOW Cafe Theatre, Brigham Mosley, Harrison Beck and a 1-hour review of plays programmed by the New York Innovative Theater Foundation!
