REBOOT WBAI CAMPAIGN
- 11/18/2012 (WBAI)

MAKE A QUICK DONATION HERE!

In the spirit of collective volunteerism that Sandy unleashed once again in NYC, as well as from people across the country, the sense of communal responsibility, is part of what motivates our work at WBAI day in and day out.

To that end, WBAI listeners are supporting WBAI to "REBOOT" and  get back on its feet after Hurricane Sandy.

HELP WBAI REBUILD:
WBAI lost a great deal of revenue as a result of being evacuated from 120 Wall St. Our steady stream of BAI Buddy monthly subscribers had built a terrific momentum at its launch and we need to rebuild that interrupted momentum again!

HELP WBAI RECOVER:
Sandy hit NYC several days before our much publicized and anxiously awaited major fund raising event, the 1st Annual WBAI Art Auction. We were forced to cancel the auction but have been able to re-schedule it for Dec. 5! As we all recover from the traumatic time we have experienced, we invite you to join us in celebrating NYC's art community who have joined together to donate their work.

HELP WBAI TO RECOUP:
At the time WBAI was forced to leave our studios we were at the height of our FALL FUND DRIVE. Those lost days signify a substantial and much relied upon pool of donations that we are now needing to recoup.

“A proper community, we should remember also, is a commonwealth: a place, a resource, an economy. It answers the needs, practical as well as social and spiritual, of its members - among them the need to need one another. The answer to the present alignment of political power with wealth is the restoration of the identity of community and economy." -Wendell Berry
