Chicago public school teachers went out on strike today.  One of the main sticking point in negotiations between the union and the city has been a new system of teacher evaluations.  WBAI's Andrea Sears spoke with Kevin Kumashiro is a professor at the University of Illinois-Chicago and president elect of the National Association for Multicultural Education.
