A new lawsuit claimst the NYPD’s Muslim Surveillance Program imposes an unjustified badge of suspicion and stigma on thousands of innocent New Yorkers. At a news conference Tuesday religious and community leaders spoke out against the discriminatory practice. WBAI’s LInda Perry was there and filed this report.
